About Clipper Estates

Clipper Estates is an exclusive, gated waterfront community located near the shores of Lake Pontchartrain in east St. Tammany Parish. It offers deep water access that allow residents to have private piers and boat docks. Additionally, each phase located in this subdivision has a distinctly different theme, due to the price structure, lot size and architectural theme.

This private gated community is over 400 acres in size with immediate deep water access to Lake Pontchartrain. The land was first acquired in 1991, with the first lot sale occurring in 1995. Since then, over 435 residential lots have been sold and nearly 1200 residents currently reside in Clipper Estates Subdivision.

These amenities along with a plethora of palm trees and exotic plants throughout the entire subdivision add a Florida theme to this unique, waterfront development.

All lots in Clipper are less than fifteen (15) minutes to Lake Pontchartrain by boat. By automobile, downtown New Orleans is just twenty-five (25) minutes and we are merely forty (40) minutes to the Gulf Coast!

The Clipper Estates Homeowners Association is now managed by homeowners. There are 6 homeowners on the Board of Directors. Board meetings are open to the HOA members.

Phase 6 will be opening soon (see subdivision map below) with over 40 lots going up for sale. There also several lots throughout the community for sale. One of them is sure to be where you can build your dream house come true!
